Perk Dynamics™, Inc. is a software development company dedicated to increasing the efficiency of coffee and espresso drink operations. We are focused on improving the process and quality of brewed beverage order flows to increase profits, ROI, and customer satisfaction in establishments that serve coffee, tea and other machine produced beverages.

 
Our Services

Perk Dynamics™ provides in depth coffee and espresso operational management tools. We have taken an intrinsic look at the common problem areas experienced in the various vertical markets providing coffee and espresso service and built user friendly tool sets to streamline and in some instances even fully automate the processes cutting into business’s bottom line. With everything from POS integrated full service restaurant systems to fully automated self service configurations we have a solution to fit your needs in coffee and espresso. Taking things a step further we have also created a complete back-end system to manage reporting, service and maintenance data as well as built-in automated alerts to streamline route service and provide preventative maintenance capabilities.

AutoPerk™ software provides an automated process that improves consistency of the beverage, reduces shrinkage, increases customer satisfaction and improves the profitability of beverage dispensing.

AutoPerk SelfCheck™ enables a complete self service solution to deliver fresh ground bean-to-cup coffee, espresso, latte, cappuccino, or hot chocolate consistently with little to no labor. Accept credit card payment, authorize special membership level giveaways, or connect to your PMS system for room charge.

PerkAlert™ provides remote access to the information required to manage gourmet coffee operations over multiple locations which can reduce maintenance costs, improves quality control, brand image,  and rapid response to new recipes.

 
Management Team

Robert Gerald (Jerry) Leeman, CEO , 35 Years Industry Experience

Prior, Jerry was CEO of POS Strategies, Inc. as an independent consultant in the hospitality and restaurant industries. He also has twenty six years in IBM including the last seven years as the World Wide Food Service and Hospitality Segment Manager for IBM Retail Store Solutions. Jerry has hands-on experience in management of casual dining and pizza parlors in the franchise market space prior to coming to IBM. From 1982 to 2008 he has been a consultant in IBM's Complex Systems Integration group as an expert in Help Desk and IT Operations. He has also worked in IBM's Software group in Channel Marketing and five years in IBM Server Group working with Industry Software Vendors to develop application software for the Food Service & Hospitality and Retail Industry segments. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland UC with a degree in Technology Management. He is currently serving on the Technology Advisory Board at Penn State University, and University of Delaware, Schools of Hotel, Restaurant and Recreation Management.

John B. Sharpley, President, 20 Years Industry Experience

 

Starting as a founding partner, President, and innovator; this solution was developed to solve problems in the management of coffee service operations. Responsible for product vision, patent development, channel development, sales, and marketing. Prior, John was President and CEO of XbizPro delivering Vertically customized Retail Management Solutions to retailers based upon Microsoft’s Retail Management System. Awarded: Microsoft Skyrocket Partner, Microsoft Field Advocate, President’s Club. Member Microsoft Advisory Council for Retail Management System. Formed and Managed Key Strategic Relationships, Success driven through customization and custom software centered around Centralized Management. Key Customizations: Centralized Retail Management Portal, Payroll Deduction, Centralized In-House Real-Time Gift Card System, Loyalty Systems. 2001-2003 XbizPro delivered WebSite/Online Store to Retailers through SCObiz solutions. Awarded “Top Reseller” by SCO based on Sales. SCObiz was acquired by Sam’s Club to provide website/store solutions to the SMB market.

 

Roger Grant, Director Development/Programming, 29 Years Industry Experience

 

Roger has 29+ years of system analysis, design, development and consulting experience. Roger’s strong analytical skills and ability to see and understand the entire scope of an organization’s needs has allowed him to create concise, cost effective solutions that utilize the right set of tools to solve the problem. His approach to complex issues spans three separate phases of solution development – 1) as a consultant; 2) an analyst; 3) a developer.

Roger has worked with clients (internal and external) at all levels throughout his career to help solve their problems and/or achieve their goals. Communication and listening is a point of emphasis, whether it is working with C-level executives on a strategic initiative, helping Mid-line managers with improving efficiency, or working with end users in a support role.

Roger’s entrepreneurial nature (having worked as an independent consultant, and being a founder in technology based startups) provides experience and understanding of the dynamics of a startup company vs. that of the traditional corporate structure.

 

Dillon Sharpley, VP of IT, 13 Years Industry Experience

 

With over 13 years’ successful experience in customer service and support with recognized strengths in account maintenance, problem-solving and trouble-shooting, sales staff support, and planning/implementing proactive procedures and systems to avoid problems in the first place. Dillon possess solid computer skills with the ability to design and manage programming projects.He has proven ability to train, motivate, and supervise employees producing top notch cutting edge systems on extremely tight time constraints.
