 March 22-23 Arlington Texas Perk Dynamics Selected as Showcase Presenter
What began as an idea in early 2002, the WBT Innovation Marketplace has emerged as the nation's premier event showcasing the largest collection of vetted and mentored companies and technologies emanating from top universities, labs, research institutions, and the private sector from across the country and around the globe. Since its inception in 2002 the WBT Innovation Marketplace has presented over 560 emerging companies and technologies representing 49 states and 19 countries. To date WBT presenters have received over $490 Million in early and seed stage funding and licensing. These figures do not consider subsequent federal R&D grants or sources of other government, state, local grant funding, or licensing agreements of undisclosed amounts.

podium by Jerry Leeman, Vice President of Marketing, Perk Dynamics, Inc. with Fred Tibbitts, Jr,
President & CEO, Fred Tibbitts & Associates, Inc. at his side. Leeman announced that Visa, Inc. has been
chosen as the 2010 FTA Hospitality Award Recipient for IT Innovation. Docherty asked that the $5,000.00
scholarship in Visa, Inc.’s name that accompanies the Award benefit worthy students at the Department
of Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management at the University of Delaware. The Award and
scholarship will be presented at the FTA NYC Fall Dinner.
